Holiday Workshops

We offer Easter and Summer Holiday one day workshops for members and non-members. Some previous themes have been popular Acro workshop days, Matilda, Descendants and Wicked workshops, to name a few. 

Summer School

Our popular Show in a Week is now in its 4th year, running midway through the summer holidays. Challenging but lots of fun, children learn a 20 minute performance piece in just 4 days and their time with us consists of learning scripts, songs and dance routines, participating with set design and program design and taking part in a photo shoot! It is a jam-packed 4 days but we love it! This year we have been lucky enough to secure a fabulous music and singing teacher to join us to enhance the experience! 

Disneyland Paris 

After a successful first time performing at Disneyland Paris in October 2022, we simply knew we had to do it all again so in May 2025 we returned with a brand new show, even more dancers (and family members!) and this time were able to add dancing in the Main Street pre-parade too!
The opportunity is a huge 18- month long commitment which requires following a stringent audition process but our Disney performances have been highlights of our school to date.
Our next trip is pencilled in for 2028 - will you be joining us?!

Festivals

For our older and more committed dancers who want a little extra to work towards. Associated Board of Dance (ABD) Festivals are competitions and give dancers a chance to showcase their work alongside dancers from schools from across the United Kingdom. Our next festival entries are in September 2025.

Private Tuition

Blocks of private lessons are offered at various intervals across the year (when the timetable allows). They benefit children who want to work on their skills outside of their main class and can be just for fun or for exam practice. Private tuition is only available to members of the school.

All of our extra opportunities are completely optional and are an additional cost to your regular classes. We will communicate opportunities as they arise and the choice will be yours. Some additional opportunities require a commitment to extra rehearsals.

My daughter loves starsteps and so do I. The teachers are very caring and patient. It's not only about just taking the classes but actually performing and gaining experience, exposure and qualifications. Would
recommend this school for anyone interested in proper structure for learning ballet.
