Welcome to Starsteps Dance School!
Our dance classes cater to dancers of all abilities and experience levels, grouped by age and grade. Whether your child is taking their first steps in our Pre-School Introduction to Dance classes, starting at a slightly older age or preparing for exams and performances in higher grades, we offer structured learning that’s also fun and engaging.

Meet the teachers Lucy & Kate: Founders & Principal Teachers of Starsteps Dance School Each with over 20 years of teaching experience and 40 years of dance experience, Lucy and Kate are the heart and soul of Starsteps Dance School. Both fully qualified and passionate about dance, they bring energy, dedication, and a love for teaching and working with children into every class. As mums themselves, Lucy and Kate understand the importance of nurturing each child’s individual journey. They are not only teachers, but also mentors—proud to know the unique personality, quirks, and strengths of every child in the school. Their mission is to make dance accessible to all backgrounds and to inspire the next generation through movement, creativity, and confidence. From lesson planning to choreography, teaching to additional training, day to day admin such as emails and bookings, marketing, producing shows, accounting to costume sourcing, music editing and more - you name it, if it needs doing it is done by Lucy and Kate. There is little time to rest but there is no better job in the world! Starsteps Dance School is fully insured and Lucy and Kate hold First Aid and Child Safeguarding certification. |
